DXC Technology Italia is looking for a Software Developer to join the Applications Service DXC Team. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute business and technical software solutions for new or enhanced (upgrade or conversion) applications. Analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems using appropriate tools and solutions. Collaborate with client‑facing colleagues (Business Analyst and Project Manager) to understand business environment, technical context, and strategic direction. Keep current with emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Qualifications Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, Dev Ops, cloud‑based applications, and microservices architecture and patterns. Strong technical experience writing code in Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot, etc.), single‑page application frameworks, microservices, Docker, design patterns, and architecture design; and with SQL and No SQL databases. Experience with software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and Dev Ops. Ability to work with web‑development tools for new applications. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies. Strong analytics, problem‑solving, results focus, decision‑making skills and teamwork ability.
