What you will do

As Area Sales Manager HVAC Indirect Channel, you will be responsible for driving targeted sales revenue and margin for our HVAC indirect channel. In this role, you will make decisions effectively, manage customers and monitor progress. You will manage multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills whilst working in a dynamic team. You will generate new business using your network, resolve conflicts along the way, supervise and report on all accounts in your region.

How you will do it

  • Grow existing and new customer opportunities to exceed sales and margin targets
  • Drive sales throughout the country to maximize market share, whilst growing revenue and profit.
  • Grow a network of key business partners to deliver consistent revenue and profit growth in line with or in excess of target
  • Champion the needs of the regions customers within the business.
  • Maintain clear and relevant pricing policies and disciplines with all customers
  • Actively seek out new opportunities and routes to market
  • Gather relevant competitor market information
  • Coordinate approach with all Sales colleagues to drive cross selling opportunities.

What we look for

  • Proven experience in selling HVAC solutions and products on the Italian market
  • Track‑record and experience in strategic account management & selling
  • High level of creation of new accounts and opportunities
  • Ability and discipline to focus on growth strategy - accounts & opportunities
  • Experience of the YORK product is preferable
  • Proficiency in negotiation skills (tactics, techniques, strategies)
  • Business acumen with a problem‑solving attitude
  • Ability to work to targets and KPI’s and self‑monitor own performance.
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge and ability to activity manage sales pipelines
  • Ability to follow and improve current processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Italian
  • Autonomous and independent person
  • Comfortable working to deadlines, ability to multi‑task and carry out ad‑hoc work.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
