Overview

Campus Manager, Site Operations oversees the overall operations for one or more data center campuses. The Campus Manager will directly manage a team of Critical Facilities Engineers (CFEs) and other managerial positions, interfacing with Operations Director, Reliability Engineering, Design Engineering & Construction, Health & Safety, Security, and other resources to manage the campus. The role includes workflow/work order management, training plans, event management, customer communications, hiring, and performance management of the team. Responsibilities

Manage the operations and engineering functions at the property with the objective of safely and effectively operating machinery and building systems. Lead the site team to ensure a high-level customer experience and excellence of operations. Ensure availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained for data centers and technical infrastructure for your assigned facility or facilities. Encourage and foster a team-oriented environment through positive feedback. Hold employees accountable for preventive/corrective maintenance of facilities equipment. Ensure customers are satisfied and issues with services are resolved quickly and efficiently. Understand the engineering and operational aspects of building systems and respond to performance deficiencies and emergencies. Ensure adequate training of all facility engineers and personnel on electrical/mechanical equipment and maintenance, repairs, and operation. Responsible for implementing and applying Vantage policies on site related to safety, security, quality, and information systems. Contribute to crisis management documentation and processes for the site. Collaborate with Vantage Operations at country level on maintenance activities of technical installations. Demonstrate and implement best practices for smooth customer project implementation, delivering contracts and obligations on time and within agreed price. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical or technical field or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision (strongly preferred). 7+ years of direct managerial experience and strong interpersonal skills (strongly preferred). Experience in Data Center or Critical Infrastructure industries (strongly preferred). Experience and knowledge of physical security in a critical environment (preferred). Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders. Italian and English language proficiency required. Proven track record of managing through periods of significant people, process, and technology change. Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines. Additional Information

Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes. Work collaboratively across functions to achieve shared goals and business objectives. Produce reliable reports, data, and metrics as required by the company. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
