Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess or an exceptional 2nd Stewardess
(from vessels 80m+)
ready to advance their career aboard a newly built 115+-meter private motor yacht. This is a rotational position that requires a dedicated professional to oversee all interior service operations and lead a dynamic interior team to uphold world-class hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all interior operations, including guest services, housekeeping, laundry, and provisioning
Manage, train, and mentor the interior team (typically 8-12 stewardesses, depending on vessel configuration)
Create and maintain exceptional service standards aligned with owner and charter guest expectations
Coordinate with the Chief Officer, Chef, and Captain to ensure seamless guest experiences
Manage interior budgets, inventories, and provisioning for extended voyages
Develop and implement SOPs for all interior departments
Ensure compliance with MLC, ISM, and ISPS regulations for interior operations
Handle guest requests, preferences, and special requirements with discretion and professionalism
Maintain interior presentation to superyacht standards at all times
Coordinate events, fine dining service, and VIP guest experiences
Required Qualifications
Licenses & Certifications:
STCW Basic Safety Training (VI/1)
ENG1 Medical Certificate (or equivalent)
Food Safety/Hygiene Level 2 (HACCP or equivalent)
STCW Advanced Fire Fighting (preferred)
Security Awareness Training
PDSD (Proficiency in Designated Security Duties) - preferred for vessels of this size
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years as Chief Stewardess on vessels 60m+ OR
Minimum 4+ years as a 2nd Stewardess on vessels 80m+ with proven leadership capability
Experience with UHNW clientele and high-profile charter guests
New build or refit experience is highly advantageous
Silver service and fine dining experience are essential
Luxury hotel or hospitality background beneficial
Additional Requirements:
Wine service knowledge (WSET Level 2 or equivalent preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong inventory and budget management abilities
Proficiency in crew management software and MS Office
EU/Schengen passport holders preferred (but not essential)
Non-smoker preferred
Fluent English; additional languages (French, Spanish) advantageous
