Consultancy Scope

The Digital Engagement & Protection (DEP) team at UNICEF Innocenti conducts primary and secondary research on children’s rights in digital environments, including online safety, digital participation, platform governance, digital literacy, AI and emerging technologies. This consultancy will strengthen the team’s ability to synthesize complex evidence and data to develop high‑impact knowledge products that inform communications, advocacy, and policy engagement internally and externally. Minimum Requirements

Education: Masters’ degree in any relevant social science discipline Work Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in evidence synthesis or knowledge management Experience working with qualitative and quantitative data to draft outputs for various audiences Experience summarizing complex topics into easily understandable materials Experience on topics related to children’s Digital Engagement and Protection is an asset Experience conducting rigorous evidence reviews is an asset

Language requirement: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required Knowledge of another official UN language is an asset Submission Requirements
