Role overview As a member of the Italy Commercial Team, you will play a key role in driving and enhancing the PlayStation consumer experience across our strategic retail partners. Reporting to the Commercial Manager for Italy, you will work closely with the Commercial Management, Commercial Planning, and Business Analytics teams to implement and execute the commercial strategy across both physical and digital retail channels, supporting sustainable revenue growth and profitability.

What you’ll be doing Retailer Management & Customer Relationship Development

Manage and develop strategic relationships with a portfolio of clients

Develop and implement joint business plans in collaboration with key retail accounts

Drive customer satisfaction, strengthen partner loyalty, and support long‑term business growth

Lead commercial negotiations and contribute to annual business planning processes

Sales Performance & Business Growth

Manage a portfolio of retailer partners to deliver revenue objectives and achieve sales targets across PlayStation’s physical product portfolio (consoles, peripherals, software, and vouchers)

Identify opportunities to increase market share and drive business growth within assigned accounts

Identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities and growth initiatives across the Italian retail landscape and PlayStation product portfolio to drive revenue and operating profit

Lead the retail planning and activation cycle, ensuring effective execution, high‑quality delivery, and strong operational discipline

Own a key product category, taking responsibility for all aspects of forecasting, demand planning, and sales performance reporting

Monitor, analyse, and communicate key business metrics, performance trends, and commercial insights across your portfolio of retail partners

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Business Reporting

Collaborate cross‑functionally to lead and execute the commercial aspects of product launches and key business events, including promotional campaigns, industry events, and other strategic calendar moments

Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure operational, marketing, and finance processes are effectively managed, aligned, and continuously optimised

Liaise with the Business Insights Analyst to bring to life sales data, market trends and competitor activity

Support forecasting and planning activities by leveraging retailer plans, market intelligence, performance data, and commercial insights

Retail Marketing Executions

Apply a strong understanding of media valuation principles to evaluate and optimise retail marketing investments

Understanding retailer customer segmentation / consumer behaviour patterns and associated data targeting opportunities

Leverage a strong understanding of retailer ATL (Above‑the‑Line) marketing strategies to identify and deliver effective co‑marketing opportunities

Evaluation and implementation of effective retail marketing campaigns – having a clear view on all touch points (in‑store and online), timelines and retailer strengths / capabilities

Applying a considered negotiation approach/plan for all retailer marketing investment, ensuring trading decisions and precedents are robust

What we’re looking for

5+ years of proven experience in Account Management roles within the Consumer Electronics or Technology industries

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Strong data and analytical ability

Retail marketing knowledge

Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office and Power BI

Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and, at times, ambiguous business environment

Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external partners

A team player and someone who embraces the fun, collaborative spirit that drives our PlayStation business with champion “We Are One” culture within the Italian territory

Desirable

Passion and/or keen interest in Gaming

Prior experience working within the Telecommunications (TELCO) industry
