Commissioning supervisor - electrical / instrumentation / automation

Progesys is looking for a Commissioning Supervisor - Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation to work on a mining project in Europe. The Commissioning Supervisor will have to ensure in a timely manner the commissioning of installations in respect to the environment and health and safety of the personnel in his discipline. Main Responsibilities Perform activities of pre-commissioning and instrumentation commissioning Monitor testing and commissioning functions on the voltage distribution systems, loop tests / regulatory testing / layout tension, implementation instruments, functional test of control system, circuit breaker, lighting system, no-load tests, etc. Validate complete inspection of instrumental & electrical equipment Assist site operations in commissioning and startup (energization) activities Completion of approved commissioning check sheets Validation of equipment identification and their integrity to the P&ID Supervision of workers assigned to the commissioning as well as supplier representatives Requirements Electrical Technical diploma or equivalent Minimum 12+ years of experience in commissioning activities, ideally within the following industries: Mining and metallurgy, Aluminum, oil and gas or hydro power P&ID comprehension Interpretation of circuit diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, CSA installation standards Health and safety minded Excellent oral communication skills in English Our Benefits An open and inclusive culture and work environment Competitive salary Referral bonus A company that encourages professional development International mobility Large-scale projects The opportunity to work closely with a team of curious and open-minded individuals Progesys is an equal opportunity employer and has an equal employment opportunity program for women, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities.
