Deputy Station Manager FCO - Fiumicino Management & Organization

Support to the Station Manager

Team management: support in coordinating, supervising, and distributing workload

Interface between the Station Manager and ground staff

Publishing and monitoring shift schedules in collaboration with the Station Manager

Verification and validation of worked hours, leave, and absences in the absence of the Station Manager

Operations & Maintenance

Support in planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities in compliance with deadlines

Support activities related to the verification and control of the proper execution of contractual operations carried out for clients

Supervision of tasks requiring specific skills and certifications

Act as B1.1 or B1-B2 or Category A technician, if qualified and certified

Support in managing and monitoring AOG situations, with immediate reporting to stakeholders

Compliance, Safety & Quality

Implementation and support in monitoring regulations concerning workplace safety, health, and protection

Support in verifying compliance with internal procedures, customer procedures, the MOE (IT.145.0391), and local authorities’ requirements

Assists the Station Manager in implementing and monitoring corrective actions following internal and external audits

Reporting of incidents, injuries, anomalies, and non-conformities

Resource Management & Logistics

Focal point when needed and interface with the Store in supervising stock (equipment, spare parts, consumables, furniture, etc.) and communicating requirements to the purchasing department; supervision of equipment, vehicles, and their maintenance

Coordination of store activities and replacement of the warehouse keeper when necessary

Reporting & Client Relations

Assists the Station Manager in ensuring the accuracy of reporting required for billing (settlement)

Transmission of settlements within the required deadlines when necessary

Collaboration with the commercial department in case of disputes or customer dissatisfaction

Support in preparing and transmitting technical reports requested by clients

Administrative

Entry of maintenance data into company systems

Professional use of IT tools and email

Strict compliance with internal rules and IT policies

Requirements Candidate Profile

Excellent knowledge of the sector

At least 3 years of experience in a resource coordination role within the aircraft maintenance sector

Excellent knowledge of maintenance procedures

Fluent in English

Confidentiality, accuracy, organization, and autonomy

Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
