The position is based in Rome. Reporting to the Worldwide Management Control Director, the Distribution Control Manager is responsible for the supervision of the financial analysis and reporting of all retail, wholesale and licenses activities worldwide. It includes P&L analysis, Capex reporting, Inventory and financial performance KPI’s.
He/she, acting as a real Business partner, contributes to the objective’s settings of Distribution entities and structures adequate reporting tools, working with other Central departments and the Regions.
Monthly Financial Analysis
- Assure that deadlines of month‑end and year‑end closing are matched by Distribution Entities.
- Monitor Retail Performance and Profitability, proactively propose action plans to improve Retail & Financial KPIs.
- Focus on cost variance and margin analysis.
- Prepare and present results to company executives together with a comprehensive commentary and understanding of the performance.
- Analyse P&L, inventory, margin, cash flow and Capex.
- Relate directly to LVMH for Sales & Capex reporting.
Budget and Forecasting
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of the budget and the other financial forecast processes.
- Design and oversee the execution of all forecast phases within its perimeter.
- Contribute in rule and target settings.
- Provide analysis and findings.
- Support the company executives in the construction of the Budget Presentation to LVMH.
- Lead the Capex request towards LVMH for all store and retail‑related investments, considering the integration of the FENDI Sustainability Strategy and its impact.
Financial Control & Improvement
- Supervise and define Sales, Profit and Capex reporting.
- Propose and implement proactive enhancements to existing analysis to adapt to business reality and opportunities.
- Identify cost‑optimization opportunities and efficiency through analysis of various retail performance KPIs.
- Participate and contribute to the Open To Buy process in coordination with Supply Chain and Merchandising.
- Be a key partner of IT departments, bringing innovation and efficiency in all finance‑related developments and implementations;
validate KPIs and methodologies in place. - Collaborate with and be seen as a genuine business partner by department heads.
- Perform additional controller duties as necessary.
In this role, the candidate will work closely with counterparts in all Zones and at the Headquarter, building and maintaining strong relationships with controllers of subsidiaries worldwide and with top management.
International travel might be required on an ad‑hoc basis.

Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a fashion/luxury company.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Experience with corporate ERP and reporting systems.
- Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month‑end/year‑end close process.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Fluency in English;
French is a plus. - Precision, strong commitment, and high energy.
- Project management expertise.
- Ability to work under pressure and in teamwork.
- Ability to handle different deadlines, ad‑hoc requests, and prioritize tasks.
