With a strong reputation for technical excellence and high-quality project delivery, the company operates across a wide range of sectors including commercial developments, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and mission-critical data centre facilities. Due to continued growth within the data centre sector, our client is seeking an experienced Electrical QC Lead to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Milan. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical quality control activities on site, ensuring installations are delivered in full compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. Working closely with project management, MEP teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Electrical QC Lead will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across all electrical systems. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all electrical installations are inspected, tested, and documented in line with design intent, programme requirements, and quality assurance procedures.Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage all electrical QA/QC activities on a large-scale data centre project in Milan • Inspect and verify electrical installations including LV/MV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and associated infrastructure • Ensure all electrical works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards • Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and checklists • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project quality requirements • Coordinate inspections with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors • Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation including inspection records, test results, and handover documentation • Identify, track, and close out non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented • Support testing, commissioning, and system handover processes from a quality perspective • Promote and enforce a strong quality culture across all electrical works on site • Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company procedures • Assist in audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesIn Return, Our Client Offers Negotiable basic salary Accommodation and relocation support (where applicable) Flights and travel allowance Attractive bonus structure Healthcare Pension Opportunity to work on a flagship European data centre project with strong long-term career progression within a growing international contractor
