The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Energy Associate to join our highly respected Italian Energy and Infrastructure team in the Rome office. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a top-tier international law firm. You will work closely with senior partners and associates on complex domestic and cross-border transactions in the energy sector, providing critical support on a wide range of legal matters. Key Responsibilities Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to energy projects, and financing documents. Conduct legal research and analysis on energy and regulatory matters, including renewable energy incentives, environmental regulations, and grid connection rules. Support due diligence processes for energy projects by reviewing and summarizing key legal documents and identifying potential risks. Manage and organize transaction-related documents. Collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient project execution. Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Law degree (Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza) from an accredited Italian university. Admitted to the Italian Bar (Albo degli Avvocati) or eligible to apply. Strong academic record with excellent legal research and writing skills. A solid understanding of Italian administrative law and a keen interest in the energy sector. Fluency in both Italian and English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional excellence.
