Engineer / Hydraulic Modeler – Planning and Engineering Department JOB / DESCRIPTION DU TRAVAILLEPOSITION: Engineer / Hydraulic Modeler – Planning and Engineering DepartmentRome, Italy; and missions abroadSTARTING DATE / DATE DE DEMARRAGE: as soon as possibleGeneral Objective The resource will mainly work within ARS Planning and Engineering Dpt. on the following activities:Project Engineer:Provide specific expertise in projects where professional experience is compatible. Dedicated to modeling activities, GIS Database management and development, hydraulic designs, development of cost estimations, Bo Qs and technical specifications. Willing to travel for short-medium missions (up to one month) in developing countries and Gulf Area.Project Management:Monitoring of budget, resources and time‑schedule; administrative management of the contract with the client and with the experts; provide coordination and backstopping support to international experts.QualificationsMin. 3 years of professional experience in drainages, hydrogeological risk assessment, flood risk management, river modeling and sewers.Excellent knowledge and use of main software: HEC‑RAS, Mike, EPA‑SWMM, Auto CAD, Arc GIS, QGIS, Civil3 D.Fluent written and spoken Italian and English is mandatory.Excellent ability to write and edit reports or other written materials.Specific Experience The candidate must be proactive, a hard worker, result‑oriented, passionate about environmental thematic. Self‑sufficient with problem solving skills. Capable to work under stress. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Passionate in travelling.Work Language Italian and English mandatory.Date Line Selections start immediately.
