Overview HSPI S.p. A., an IT consulting company with over 20 years of experience and part of the TXT Group, provides its clients with services in Business Consulting, IT Governance, and Digital Innovation. HSPI is looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience to join as a General Accountant within the Finance, Controlling, and Administration area. The role will be responsible for general accounting activities, working within a structured and collaborative team, based at the Rome EUR office. Key Responsibilities Independently manage the full general accounting cycle, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accurate recording of journal entries and accruals Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy Prepare and monitor account reconciliations (receivables, payables, fixed assets, accruals/deferrals, intercompany)Collaborate with the controlling team and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and local/international accounting standards (OIC/IFRS)Contribute to the evolution of accounting processes through workflow optimization, implementation of new tools, and digitalization initiatives Produce timely analysis and reporting to support management decision-making Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields Requirements Solid experience in managing the full general accounting cycle (accounts receivable and payable)Proven ability to manage monthly and annual closings independently Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards (OIC) and good understanding of IFRSExperience with account reconciliations and adjusting entries Advanced knowledge of MS Excel Familiarity with accounting ERPs (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Zucchetti, or similar)Ability to liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders Good command of English Why join HSPI?Tailored training paths based on role and individual strengths Possibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week Permanent contract with compensation aligned to seniority and experience This position is open to all candidates regardless of gender, in compliance with Italian Legislative Decree 198/2006.
