With a strong commitment to sustainable energy generation and environmental responsibility, our client is actively contributing to the growth of renewable energy in Italy.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess grid connection feasibility and available capacity with network operators during early-stage PV project developmentEvaluate grid-related risks, timelines, and costs to support site selection and project prioritisationCoordinate and optimise grid connection solutions with network operators and external service providersAdvise internal teams on grid operator requirements, feedback, and regulatory considerationsManage external consultants and associated costs related to grid connections for solar projectsSecure grid connection reservations and technical approvals throughout the development phase, ensuring compliance with deadlines and milestonesAct as the primary point of contact for all grid connection matters across development, engineering, and external stakeholdersCandidate ProfileDegree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or Renewable EnergyProven experience in grid connection processes, including a strong understanding of Italian network operator procedures, guidelines, and application systemsAbility to interpret grid studies, connection offers, and technical requirements at medium- and high-voltage levelsProactive, results-driven mindset with strong collaboration skillsFluency in Italian and EnglishLocation: Rome OR Milan Work Environment: Hybrid after 6 months, in office for the first 6 monthsIf you would like to learn more, please apply below and we shall be in touch!
