Position Title: GRO&SPT Chains Field Sales Representative PN&FN - BG, BS, CR, MN Job Purpose / Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Grocery Sales Representative to join our Pet Nutrition & Food Field Sales team in the north of Italy (Lazio).

Key Responsibilities

• Territory Coverage: Conduct regular visits to grocery stores and retail outlets within your assigned territory, ensuring optimal coverage in line with guidelines and fostering strong relationships with store personnel.
• Range Compliance: Ensure that the product assortment available at each point of sale meets Mars' standards, implementing corrective actions for missing SKUs and maintaining agreed assortment and portfolio priorities.
• Reduction of Out of Stock (OOS): Monitor stock levels for each SKU, implementing strategies to minimize out-of-stocks and adjusting shelf layouts to optimize product placement.
• Perfect Store Compliance: Continuously improve Perfect Store execution by enhancing the shopping experience through effective merchandising and promotional execution.
• Execution of Promotional Plans: Collaborate with retailers to implement promotional activities, negotiating optimal space and quality for displays in line with agreed activations.
• Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyze competitive information to identify market trends and opportunities, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.

Skills and Competencies

• Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of the grocery retail landscape and consumer behavior.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Employment Type

Temporary contract via Adecco – 12 months.

Compensation

Base pay range: 30,800 – 33,600 annually gross. Total compensation may include variable pay and general allowances, where eligible.
