A high-end, contemporary Italian restaurant concept in Kuwait is looking for an exceptional Head Chef / Chef de Cuisine to lead its kitchen operations. They want a true maestro of authentic and modern Italian cuisine — someone who can manage a multicultural team while upholding the highest standards of culinary luxury.

The Package

  • Salary range starting from 1,200 KD | $3900 USD
  • Accommodation and transport provided by the company

Core Duties

  • Create and update menus focused on authentic, premium Italian regional dishes with modern plating presentation.
  • Lead daily kitchen operations, prep work, and final plating quality control.
  • Manage food cost percentages, inventory procurement, and kitchen staff scheduling.
  • Train, develop, and mentor a high-performing back-of-house brigade.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local Kuwait Municipality health regulations and HACCP standards.

Core Requirements

  • Background: Trained in Italy or extensively specialized in luxury Italian fine dining.
  • Experience: 5+ years in upscale dining, including 2+ years leading a kitchen as Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
  • Regional Context: Previous experience in the GCC market is strongly preferred.
  • Attributes: Sharp financial acumen (recipe costing), excellent communication skills in English, and an inspiring leadership style.
