We are a dynamic and fast-growing incoming tour operator and Destination Management Company (DMC) based in Rome, delivering exceptional travel experiences across Italy. We specialize in tailor‑made itineraries, group travel, luxury journeys, educational programs, corporate events, and incentive travel for international clients and travel partners.

As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are seeking an entrepreneurial and data-driven Head of Growth to lead our commercial expansion, drive revenue growth, strengthen market presence, and build scalable growth strategies across multiple international markets.

Position Overview The Head of Growth will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s growth strategy, with a primary focus on revenue generation, client acquisition, market expansion, strategic partnerships, and brand positioning. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution and requires a strong understanding of the travel industry, international sales, digital marketing, and business development.

The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, capable of identifying new growth opportunities while building processes and teams that support long‑term business success.

Key Responsibilities Growth Strategy & Business Expansion

Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with company objectives.

Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.

Lead initiatives to expand the company’s presence in key international source markets.

Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging travel opportunities.

Drive sustainable revenue growth through acquisition of new clients and travel partners.

Build and manage relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, wholesalers, OTAs, event planners, and corporate clients.

Develop sales strategies and partnership programs that increase market share.

Support contract negotiations and strategic commercial agreements.

Marketing & Demand Generation

Oversee digital marketing initiatives including SEO, content marketing, email campaigns, social media, and paid advertising.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve lead generation and conversion performance.

Strengthen brand awareness and positioning within target markets.

Develop campaigns that drive qualified inquiries and bookings.

Partnership Development

Establish strategic partnerships with tourism boards, travel networks, industry associations, and complementary service providers.

Represent the company at trade shows, workshops, sales missions, and industry events.

Build referral and partnership channels that generate long‑term business opportunities.

Data, Analytics & Performance

Define and monitor growth KPIs, sales performance metrics, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and revenue targets.

Use data‑driven insights to optimize marketing and commercial activities.

Prepare regular growth reports and recommendations for senior leadership.

Build, mentor, and manage high‑performing sales, marketing, and business development teams.

Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Align cross‑functional teams around growth objectives and priorities.

Customer Experience & Retention

Work closely with Operations and Product teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Develop retention and account‑growth strategies for existing clients and partners.

Gather customer insights to inform product development and service enhancements.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or growth‑focused roles.

At least 3–5 years in a leadership position.

Proven track record of delivering measurable revenue growth and market expansion.

Strong understanding of international travel distribution channels and tourism markets.

Experience managing strategic partnerships and commercial negotiations.

Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Fluency in English; Italian proficiency is highly desirable.

Preferred

Experience working within a DMC, incoming tour operator, travel technology company, OTA, or hospitality organization.

Established network within the international travel industry.

Knowledge of luxury travel, group travel, MICE, and experiential tourism sectors.

Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and performance marketing tools.
