Your mission

  • Drive business development activities and acquire new customers in the Italian utility‑scale solar market, while supporting business growth across the Balkans region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including EPCs, developers, investors, and other industry partners.
  • Leverage your existing network within the utility‑scale solar industry to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Present Schletter's utility‑scale mounting structure solutions to customers and project partners.
  • Manage customer relationships throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signature.
  • Coordinate quotation, proposal, and commercial processes in close collaboration with internal teams.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with customers.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs.
  • Regularly visit customers, project sites, and industry partners across Italy and the Balkans.
  • Support market intelligence activities by monitoring industry developments, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase market share and strengthen Schletter's presence in Italy and selected Balkan markets.

Your profile

  • Several years of successful sales or business development experience within the utility‑scale solar industry.
  • Strong existing network with EPCs, developers, IPPs, investors, or other key players in the Italian solar market.
  • Existing relationships within the Balkans solar market are considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience selling technical solutions or components for utility‑scale solar projects; experience with mounting structures is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record in winning and developing customer relationships and large‑scale solar projects.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Italian (Native) and English (Professional); additional language(s) are a plus.
  • Self‑driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Italy and the Balkans and meet customers.
