Experteer Overview In this role you will manage and evolve Allegro’s global Linux infrastructure that supports high-performance engineering simulations. You will work with the EDA team to meet standards and keep simulation clusters running efficiently. Expect hands‑on server administration, automation, and 24/7 on‑call support to enable rapid design and verification of sensing and power technologies. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role with a meaningful impact on product development and reliability. Retribuzione / Benefits Operate and maintain the global Linux infrastructure supporting engineering simulation Collaborate with the EDA operations team to ensure high availability and adherence to standards Plan, install, and provide daily support for managed Linux environments (virtualized and physical) Resolve service incidents with the EDA team and ensure uptime for Cadence and Cliosoft applications Perform server administration tasks: install, configure, test, apply fixes, automate procedures Administer Dell EMC Vx Rail with VMware/v Sphere; build/deploy VMs and templates; manage Isilon storage and SAN Manage enterprise services such as NIS, NFS, CIFS, and data transfer tools Use Zabbix (or similar) for monitoring; develop scripts (Bash/Python/Perl) to improve workflows Communicate incident details, document actions, and track follow‑up items Contribute to technical documentation and provide redundancy/cross‑training Participate in on‑call escalation rotation for 24/7 infrastructure coverage Responsabilità 5+ years of experience in enterprise Linux environments Expert knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 6, 7, 8 Experience with Windows Server OS, patching protocols, and VMware/ESXi environments Hands‑on experience with Dell Power Edge servers and Dell EMC storage Ability to read, understand, and write Linux scripts for automation Strong verbal and written communication; ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting RHCSA/RHCE certification is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
