Splendido Mare, a Belmond Hotel in the heart of Portofino, offers luxury hospitality and refined cuisine with the 3‑Michelin‑star Cerea family partnership.

We are looking for a Maitre to join our team for the next season. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, comfortable with challenges, and ready to deliver authentic luxury experiences.

Responsibilities

Anticipate guests’ needs and handle guest complaints, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience in line with our service standards.

Cooperate with the Restaurant Manager for staff development.

Manage staff in everyday operations according to our standard and procedures.

Maintain a professional relationship with guests and colleagues.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same role in the luxury hotel industry.

Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is desirable.

Experience preferably at an international level in a fine dining restaurant.

Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & International wines.

HACCP certification.

Contract length

: from March 2026 to January 2027, with potential for extension.

Salary

: 2,500€ gross per month plus separate payslip for 13th, 14th, and TFR.
