About the role
Netflix, a global streaming platform, is seeking a Marketing Production Manager to join our Italian Marketing team. This full‑time contract position is based in Rome and focuses on overseeing campaign production and project management across marketing initiatives for films, series, and broader projects.
Key Responsibilities
Effectively manage the production of multiple campaign launches, ensuring timely and accurate development, production, and delivery of creative assets and consumer activations for local and international titles.
Serve as a thought partner with marketing managers on the creative development of local campaigns, providing production guidance, best‑practice advice, and innovative solutions.
Lead end‑to‑end production management for marketing shoots (AV), activations, and asset creation for bespoke title campaigns.
Manage agency and vendor relationships, including daily production communications, project scope, budgets, and timelines.
Define, negotiate, communicate, implement, and monitor technical quality standards and brand & creative integrity for all deliverables per Netflix guidelines.
Drive production excellence and innovation across channels such as Social, Digital, OOH, and Experiential.
Project‑manage integrated marketing campaigns, covering online and offline video, out‑of‑home, print, digital display, TV, cinema, radio, and paid social.
Plan overall campaign production timelines, budget management, deliverables, and resource allocation in partnership with events, photo, and AV studio teams.
Maintain regular flow of information with cross‑functional partners in Italy, EMEA, and globally, sharing updates on timelines, budgets, and escalating issues.
Identify business‑critical issues and opportunities to improve tracking, production, sharing, and usage of promotional assets; establish flexible processes and workflows.
Nurture a network of top‑market vendors and freelancers.
Experience & Skills
8+ years of marketing creative production and project management experience crafting world‑class campaigns.
Experience within the entertainment industry and international exposure.
Knowledge of the evolving Italian and global advertising and media landscape, including digital marketing and media.
Passion for storytelling, high competency and proven track record on high‑profile local and global campaigns.
Expert knowledge of marketing campaign and localisation workflows, including AV, print & digital deliverables.
Fluency in AV, print & digital types and formats, and understanding of asset management, servicing, and ad trafficking.
Ability to oversee a wide range of production types and high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel.
Exceptional communication, analytical, strategic, and creative thinking skills.
Proactive, fast, flexible problem‑solver with superb time, resource, and stakeholder management.
Strong appetite for innovation and solution‑oriented mindset.
Fluency in Italian and English required.
Compensation
Salary range: €85,000 – €135,000 per year.
