The Chief Supply Chain Planner – Milan coordinates cross‑functional teams to align sales, operations, logistics, and transportation in order to achieve customer fulfillment and optimize inventory positioning. The role implements safety stock policies, oversees inventory balance, and manages strategic pool balancing and relocation decisions across markets. Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage plant‑level safety stock policies to maintain balanced inventory and maximize plant capacity. Oversee short‑ and mid‑term optimization of inbound, outbound, and relocation logistics to achieve cost‑effective service while supporting efficient operations. Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to move stock from origin to destination, ensuring the correct inventory mix is maintained. Align financial and compliance goals with the strategic supply‑chain plan and communicate frameworks to execution teams. Partner with logistics and transportation teams to ensure cost‑effective fulfillment while meeting inventory and customer service objectives. Manage pool balancing initiatives by relocating surplus stock to deficit markets, optimizing regional stock positioning. Monitor and report key performance metrics, presenting results to supply‑chain leadership on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence. Qualifications

Preferred: University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent. Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus. Desired: Understanding of industry tools such as BlueYonder, Manugistics, i2, Red Prairie, Manhattan Associates; Lean/Six Sigma experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, SQL; project management experience. 7–10 years of planning, management, operations, facility engineering, supply‑chain or logistics experience; 1–2 years of IT or project management experience.
