Global Key Accounts Team
Location: Rome, Italy
Job Responsibilities- Serve as the main technical point of contact for a global key account, ensuring strong long‑term relationships and high customer satisfaction.
- Support the development and execution of global sales strategies and solution roadmaps for utility‑scale PV and BESS projects.
- Analyze customer technical requirements and translate them into optimized, value‑driven solutions.
- Design and deliver PV & BESS solutions for large‑scale, utility‑level projects across international markets.
- Lead technical discussions with customer stakeholders, including engineering teams and decision‑makers, to support project development and pipeline growth.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and competitiveness of solutions across a portfolio of global projects.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of solutions based on project experience and customer feedback.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to strengthen solution positioning.
- Prepare high‑quality technical proposals, including system architecture, bill of materials (BOM), and quotations for international tenders.
- Support global bidding processes and coordinate closely with internal teams (sales, product, and delivery).
- Degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the PV and BESS sector.
- Strong background in utility‑scale PV and energy storage solution design, combined with technical sales experience.
- Experience supporting or managing key accounts and complex, multi‑country projects.
- Solid understanding of PV systems, inverter technologies, and energy storage solutions.
- Good knowledge of ESS architectures, including batteries, PCS, EMS, and control systems.
- Familiarity with PV + BESS applications, including business models, LCOS optimization, and ROI evaluation.
- Ability to combine technical expertise with commercial awareness (e.g., cost optimization and performance improvement).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long‑term client relationships.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
Travel requirement: approximately 30%, primarily within Italy, as well as Spain and Latin America.
