Company: Tecnimont Services Spa Job Summary/Role description The Mechanical Handling Expert operates within EPC projects and operational onshore and offshore plants, supporting project engineering in defining the most suitable handling solutions for equipment, materials, and plant components, particularly within Oil & Gas facilities, both onshore and offshore. Duties and responsibilities: The role contributes to the selection and verification of lifting and handling systems, such as cranes, winches, overhead cranes, special equipment, auxiliary systems, and laydown area management, ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, and safety requirements, with the objective of defining optimal handling solutions; The scope of activities includes the development of home office engineering for EPC contracts, including the preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of supplier proposals, and review of technical documentation; In this context, the expert works closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure design consistency, space optimization, and operational reliability of the adopted solutions; Furthermore, the Mechanical Handling Expert independently manages relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, participating in technical meetings, contractual clarifications, and operational alignments, contributing to ensuring that the adopted solutions are effective, safe, and aligned with project objectives. Experience: A university degree is not required; however, direct experience in complex Oil & Gas plant environments is considered a strong asset. Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience EPC Projects Skills and Abilities: Fluent English The ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage interpersonal relationships is required.
