Project manager r&d

We are looking for a Project Manager with a software or systems background to join the R&D department in Bologna. The role involves leading cross‑functional and international teams and managing R&D projects from concept to start of production, ensuring alignment with time, quality, scope, and cost targets in accordance with Toyota processes. Qualifications / Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent 2 years of experience in Project Management, software R&D environments is a plus Experience with software development lifecycle (Agile or hybrid models) Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2) are a plus Proficient in using Git and Dev Ops, to maintain stable, collaborative, and efficient R&D codebases is a plus Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point, and MS Project Organized, proactive, and structured mindset Key Responsibilities Lead R&D projects Coordinate the work of R&D teams (software, electronic, mechanic) with other corporate functions throughout the project development process. Plan, monitor, and report project activities and milestones Ensure alignment with Toyota New Product Development processes Support continuous improvement of project management practices Opportunities Learn and work in an international environment, with daily contact with Toyota companies worldwide Support and apply Toyota R&D practices Work in close and continuous collaboration with Research teams Manage projects according to the Toyota New Product Development process Gain a broad overview of company departments and R&D activities #J-18808-Ljbffr
