Supply Chain Manager – Nexans Battipaglia Plant
We are looking for a dynamic and results‑driven
Supply Chain Manager
to join our Battipaglia plant, a key manufacturing site within the Nexans Group. In this role, you will lead end‑to‑end supply chain activities, ensuring efficient material flows, reliable production planning, and outstanding service to our customers in the cable and energy solutions industry.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee
integrated planning
, including demand forecasting, production load analysis, and capacity alignment.
Lead the
S&OP process
at plant level, coordinating inputs from Sales, Production, Procurement, and Logistics.
Ensure
material availability
by managing procurement activities, stock levels, and supplier interactions.
Supervise
logistics operations
, including warehouse flows, transport coordination, and drum/coil management.
Manage the
order portfolio
, ensuring accurate confirmations, timely deliveries, and high service performance (OTIF).
Drive
continuous improvement
across supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, cost control, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with Sales and Finance on credit-sensitive customers
Collaborate with European Supply Chain teams on group initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in
planning, logistics, procurement,
and
S&OP
within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in
Excel
; familiarity with
SAP/ARIBA
is a plus.
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
10 years of experience in similar roles within structured industrial environments.
Preferable experience in manufacturing or companies with complex supply chains.
Leadership, communication, and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
Fluency in
English
and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
French
is a plus
