Business Unit Owner – Manufacturing Industry EMEA Posted: 18.05.2026 Job reference: a897c76a3a90f6de3b1ca8096eefb126 Job information Location: Italy | Full time | Reporting to Group COO Vection Technologies is looking for a Business Owner to own the growth of our industrial manufacturing vertical across EMEA: developing lighthouse accounts, creating scalable digital transformation use cases, and expanding through a partner-led model. The Role Vection Technologies is a global enterprise technology group pioneering the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Immersive Reality, with a growing footprint across Automotive, Industrial Machinery, Smart Factory, Electronics, Food, and Process Manufacturing. We are expanding our EMEA commercial organisation and creating a dedicated Business Owner role to lead the manufacturing vertical. This is not a classic sales role. You will own the sector strategy end-to-end: identifying high-impact entry points, developing executive relationships with strategic accounts, designing replicable transformation frameworks, and scaling revenue through integration partners. You report directly to the Group COO and interface with Commercial, Marketing, Delivery, Innovation, and Finance across the Group. How does success look like? In your first 12 months you aim at closing two or more lighthouse accounts that can serve as referenceable proof points in the manufacturing vertical, build an active partner pipeline, and establish a sector KPI reporting cadence that gives the Group real visibility on EMEA manufacturing revenue. You understand how digital transformation creates value for industrial companies and can articulate it at C-level Has sold complex, consultative solutions to manufacturing or industrial companies. You know the buying process, the stakeholders, and the objections Is comfortable with ambiguity and can structure a go-to-market from scratch. You don't need a playbook handed to you Builds long-term relationships without losing focus on pipeline and revenue. You are both strategic and commercially driven Can operate across a multinational, matrixed organisation. You align internal stakeholders as effectively as you manage clients

What You Will Do Strategic Sector Development

Own the go-to-market strategy for the manufacturing vertical across EMEA, including segmentation, targeting, and value proposition by sub-sector Identify and develop lighthouse accounts in priority markets, companies whose success can be packaged as replicable transformation frameworks Conduct executive business reviews with strategic accounts and maintain ownership of senior relationships

Revenue & Partner-Led Expansion

Drive direct revenue generation: manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close on strategic manufacturing accounts Design and execute a partner-led growth model: enable integration partners through co-selling initiatives, workshops, and joint pipeline development Produce sector KPI reporting and pipeline governance for Group Commercial Leadership

Use Case Creation & Scalability

Work with Delivery and Innovation teams to design scalable digital transformation use cases specific to the manufacturing sector Package successful deployments into replicable assets (case studies, ROI frameworks, demo environments) that accelerate future deals Contribute to product and solution roadmap discussions based on manufacturing market feedback

What You Need

8+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales or business development, with direct exposure to the manufacturing or industrial sector Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with consultative selling experience in SaaS, technology, or digital transformation solutions Executive presence: proven ability to engage C-level and VP-level decision makers in industrial companies Fluent English (working language); additional EMEA language a strong plus Willingness to travel across the EMEA region regularly

Nice to Have

Direct experience with XR, 3D visualisation, or Industry 4.0 / smart factory solutions Existing network within Automotive, Industrial Machinery, or Electronics Manufacturing Experience building or scaling a vertical go-to-market in a high-growth tech company
