This is an amazing opportunity for a driven professional to join our Building Management System (BMS) Italian team within Honeywell Building Automation business unit. BMS is composed of a diverse group of women and men from all over the world and play an important role in the exciting transformation of our sales model and industry, making buildings smarter, more efficient and sustainable: Honeywell BMS brings to market solutions to better control, monitor and reduce the energy intensity of buildings, contributing toward net zero emissions in buildings.

As a Senior Account Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the company's strategic growth and success. Your leadership and expertise in managing key accounts will enable you to build strong relationships with customers and provide innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs.

You will report directly to our BMS Country Sales Manager and you’ll work out of our Rome, Italy location on a Hybrid work schedule with travel requirements exceeding 50%.

In this role, you will impact the company by driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships. By effectively managing key accounts and interacting with Italian team, you will position the company for long‑term success and establish it as a leader in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the strategic account management function, driving the development and execution of strategic account plans, particularly by managing and growing the existing account base for the region through new projects, share of wallet expansion and new services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing innovative solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver value‑added solutions.
  • Own and deliver the monthly, quarterly forecast for your account base with support of sales management.
  • Convert and grow ‘connected’ software SaaS contracts, as well as securing the necessary lifecycle upgrade plan to ensure the building technology delivers the desired outcome for the software solution.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience within building services with a background in Building Management systems.
  • Clear and measurable sales background within building technology demonstrating a results‑driven mindset.
  • Strong emotional intelligence to ensure building lasting relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate active listening skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
