Experteer Overview

As a Senior Property Underwriter at AIG, you drive profitable growth by underwriting complex Property risks and fostering broker relationships. You’ll balance risk with client needs while mentoring junior underwriters and expanding the broker network. You’ll collaborate across Distribution and other lines to pursue cross-selling opportunities and uphold top-tier client service. This is a hands-on role in a culture that values collaboration, development, and impactful risk management.

Retribuzione / Benefits

• Underwrite new and renewal Property business and assess risk for complex cases
• Communicate risk appetite and value proposition to brokers;
  negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
• Expand broker network, attend broker events, and cultivate new market relationships
• Collaborate with Distribution, territory managers, and other underwriters for cross-selling opportunities
• Provide guidance, mentoring and training to less-experienced underwriters
• Maintain high standards of customer service to brokers and clients
• Support brokers in building their networks and professional development

Responsabilità

• Proven underwriting experience with strong Property knowledge
• Ability to analyze financial statements
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Customer- and sales-oriented mindset: motivated, tenacious, proactive, technically skilled, accountable
• Interest in mentoring and training if not previously performed
