Our diverse business lines ensure the company is a leading player in a wide variety of global markets. **Pramac**, part of the third-largest group worldwide in the production of diesel and gas generators, is looking for an **Corporate Planning Manager** to join the Head Quarter Team in **Casole D'Elsa, Siena (Italy).**The **Corporate Planning Manager** is responsible for the overall Planning and Materials Management performance of the Headquarters manufacturing site while providing functional leadership, governance and strategic direction for Planning processes across all international operations outside North America. The role serves as the key link between business strategy and operational execution, ensuring alignment between commercial demand, production capabilities, inventory strategies, supplier performance and customer service objectives. As owner of the Planning function, the Enterprise Planning Leader drives the deployment of common planning standards, processes, systems and performance metrics throughout the organization. The position is accountable for achieving operational excellence through effective Demand Planning, Production Planning, Scheduling, Material Planning, Inventory Management and SIOP governance. The role acts as a strategic advisor to the COO and collaborates closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement, Logistics and Finance leadership to optimize service levels, working capital, inventory deployment and overall supply chain performance.**Education, Skills & Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or related discipline.* Master's Degree and/or MBA preferred.* APICS Certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.* Minimum 8-10 years of progressive Supply Chain and Planning leadership experience.* Proven experience leading managers, supervisors and cross-functional teams.* Strong expertise in SIOP, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Materials Management and Inventory Optimization.* Advanced ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, JDE or equivalent).* Demonstrated success within multi-site and international manufacturing organizations.* Strong analytical, financial and business acumen.* Excellent leadership, communication and influencing capabilities.* Experience driving organizational change, process standardization and operational transformation initiatives.* Capable to effectively communicate what if scenarios to determine key business decisions* Strong verbal and written communication competencies.* Experience around material flow utilizing supermarkets and supplier pull replenishment models**Key duties:**Headquarters Site Leadership* Lead all Planning and Materials Management activities for the Headquarters manufacturing facilities.* Ensure synchronization between demand, supply, production capacity and inventory strategies.* Drive achievement of operational targets related to customer service, delivery performance, productivity, inventory and working capital.* Ensure effective execution of planning processes supporting operational excellence and manufacturing efficiency.* Collaborate closely with Production leadership to align planning activities with manufacturing capabilities and resource constraints.* Drive schedule attainment, material availability and execution discipline throughout the organization.* Support operational continuity by providing leadership coverage and decision-making support across critical operational functions when required. Enterprise Planning Leadership* Act as the functional owner of Planning processes across all international operations outside North America.* Establish and maintain common planning standards, governance models and performance expectations.* Ensure consistent deployment of best practices in Demand Planning, Production Planning, Scheduling, Material Planning and Inventory Management.* Lead capability development initiatives across Planning organizations, coaching managers and developing future talent.* Promote standardization while ensuring flexibility to address local business requirements.* Facilitate alignment between regional planning organizations and corporate business objectives.* Monitor and improve planning performance through KPI governance and structured review processes. SIOP & Business Integration* Lead and govern the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process across Business Units.* Ensure business plans are translated into executable supply, production and inventory plans.* Support executive decision-making through scenario analysis and capacity planning assessments.* Facilitate resolution of supply allocation conflicts and prioritization decisions across regions and business units.* Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities through integrated planning processes.* Drive alignment between commercial growth plans and operational capabilities. Inventory & Materials Management Excellence* Lead continuous improvement of inventory management strategies and processes. Drive implementation of best practices including:* Plan For Every Part (PFEP)* ABC / XYZ inventory segmentation* Inventory optimization methodologies* Safety stock governance* Replenishment strategies* Material flow optimization* Ensure effective utilization of advanced replenishment models including MRP, VMI, Consignment, Reorder Point and Pull Systems.* Drive warehouse process effectiveness through inventory accuracy, transaction discipline, cycle counting and automation initiatives.* Optimize working capital while maintaining targeted customer service levels. Order Management & Customer Fulfillment* Lead development and deployment of Order Management best practices. Ensure effective governance of:* Available-to-Promise (ATP)* Lead time management* Customer prioritization policies* Order fulfillment strategies* EDI integration and automation* Data quality and process integrity* Support continuous improvement of customer service performance and perfect order execution. Supply Continuity & Supplier Performance* Lead initiatives to ensure continuity of supply throughout manufacturing and distribution operations.* Partner with Procurement and Category Management teams to monitor supplier performance and mitigate supply risks.* Support supplier development and escalation processes where required.* Ensure proactive identification and management of supply constraints and business continuity risks. Distribution Planning & Logistics Coordination* Lead inventory deployment and distribution planning strategies across international operations.* Optimize inventory positioning and material flows across manufacturing sites and distribution centers.* Support end-to-end supply chain optimization initiatives.* Depending on organizational requirements and candidate profile, provide leadership and governance for international logistics operations, transportation performance and warehousing efficiency.
