Our client is an international, family-owned industrial company that has been growing strongly for over 60 years. It supports industrial customers in maintaining their facilities, both in its workshops and directly on-site at the client’s premises.


To support its growth, we are looking for a:


Field Technical Sales Representative with a strong focus on business development


IMPORTANT: Only candidates with proven experience in industrial product/service sales with short sales cycles will be considered (NOT project-based sales, engineering project business, or long-cycle solution selling). Examples include electrical equipment distribution or maintenance services sold to industrial clients.


Location: Flexible home office in Northern Italy (Milan, Turin, Bologna or other cities)

Working model: Highly field-based role (approximately 4 days per week at customer sites)


Responsibilities:

  • Active business development across the region (strong focus on new business)
  • Acquisition of new industrial clients (SMEs and large enterprises)
  • Management and development of an existing customer portfolio
  • Selling technical services with fast and recurring sales cycles (similar to technical distribution / industrial services)
  • Continuous field presence (customer visits, site inspections, negotiations – approx. 4 days/week)
  • Coordination with internal technical teams
  • Participation in trade fairs and industry events


Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B technical sales in the industrial sector
  • Experience in environments with fast, high-volume sales cycles (e.g. technical distribution, electrical engineering products, or industrial maintenance services)
  • Strong hunter / business developer mindset
  • Comfortable working in the field with high autonomy (around 4 days/week)
  • Experience in fast-paced, highly responsive commercial environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
  • Fluent Italian and English
