Regional Sales Manager – Southern Europe (Defence)

Home Office – Based in Italy | Field-Based Role

Location:

Remote – Italy

An international manufacturer of electronic components and connectivity solutions is seeking a

Regional Sales Manager

to drive business growth across

Italy, Spain, France and Greece

within the defence sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with experience selling into the

defence industry

to take ownership of a strategic territory, develop long-term customer relationships and deliver sustained business growth.

The Role: As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding sales across Southern Europe by developing direct relationships with defence OEMs, identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.

Key responsibilities include: Driving sales growth across Italy, Spain, France and Greece Developing relationships with defence OEMs, engineers, project managers and procurement teams Identifying and securing new projects across the region Managing and expanding existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities Promoting power, networking and connectivity solutions that meet customer requirements Supporting and leveraging channel partners where appropriate Conducting technical and commercial negotiations Managing sales pipelines, forecasts and delivering against revenue targets Travelling throughout the region (approximately 50%) to support customers and business development activities

What We're Looking For: ✔ Proven experience in direct technical sales within the defence market ✔ Strong understanding of defence OEMs and complex procurement environments ✔ Background in power, networking, connectivity or electronic component solutions ✔ Experience managing strategic customer relationships across Southern Europe ✔ Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills ✔ Self-motivated, commercially driven and comfortable working independently ✔ Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory
