What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Development strategy aligned with regional goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a talented BD team to foster high performance and innovative thinking.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners across multiple countries.
  • Drive the BD pipeline by establishing disciplined processes, tracking KPIs, and harnessing insights from data reporting.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, ensuring sustained business growth.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to align strategies, share best practices, and achieve company-wide objectives.
  • Champion a consultative selling approach, ensuring solutions meet client needs while supporting organizational targets.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related industries with strong networks.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing BD strategies in emerging or complex markets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across diverse cultural contexts.
  • Strong leadership with experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and results-driven mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Results-oriented with a hunter mentality and consultative selling capability.

Nice To Have

  • Experience working with large multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare organizations.
  • Familiarity with tools like SFDC or other CRM and governance processes.
  • Regional or APAC-level market understanding.
  • Existing relationships within the healthcare ecosystem in Cambodia or similar markets.
  • Multilingual capabilities (beyond English) are a plus, especially Thai, Vietnamese, or Tagalog.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding ambitious growth targets in competitive markets.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to relocate to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with regional travel as needed.
  • Confidence in navigating cross-cultural and multi-lateral stakeholder environments.
  • Existing industry certifications or memberships are advantageous.
