Experteer Overview
As Associate Medical Director, you provide medical, clinical, and scientific advisory support across IQVIA divisions to guide trial delivery and business development. You act as a global medical expert on assigned projects, shaping trial design, safety review, and scientific communications. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure protocol integrity, medical accuracy, and regulatory compliance, while supporting Investigator Meetings and site engagement. This role offers the chance to influence patient outcomes through rigorous medical oversight and collaboration with pharmacovigilance and project teams.

Serve as Global Medical Advisor on assigned projects
Provide scientific guidance to Project Leaders on medical and scientific aspects
Support investigative sites and project staff on protocol‑related issues (safety, eligibility)
Review protocol, IDB, and CRFs for medical accuracy
Provide therapeutic area training to the project clinical team
Attend Investigator Meetings and present medical data
Review trial‑related Adverse Events (AEs) and SAEs in collaboration with Pharmacovigilance
Support AOSE analyses in coordination with Pharmacovigilance
Review adverse event coding and CSR/patient narratives
Attend Kick‑Off, team, and client meetings as needed
Available 24/7 for urgent protocol‑related inquiries; travel 15-20%
May perform medical reviews and case discussions as needed
Responsabilità
Medical Degree with a valid medical license in country/region of residence
Minimum 5 years of clinical medicine experience plus clinical trials experience in Pharma/CRO/biotech
Board Certified in Cardiology
Knowledge of cardiology, metabolic diseases, and nephrology
Experience or knowledge in Phase I studies or early clinical development
Robust knowledge of scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial landscape in applicable therapeutic area
Knowledge of applicable federal and local clinical research regulations and guidelinesFluent English; extensive communication skills
Business Acumen
