Fast‐growing battery storage platform in Italy (pipeline ~1GW) is hiring a BESS Revenue Head to lead commercial strategy and revenue optimisation across its utility‐scale storage portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the commercial and route‐to‐market strategy for BESS assets
Optimise revenues across MACSE, Capacity Market, ancillary services, merchant and balancing markets
Support financing processes and work closely with lenders, investors and strategic partners
Present revenue models and market insights for investment and due‐diligence processes
Track Italian/EU power market trends and build relationships with traders, utilities, TSOs and aggregators.
Requirements:
8–15+ years in energy markets, renewables, infrastructure or trading
Strong knowledge of Italian power markets and BESS economics
Experience with utility‐scale storage projects and project finance
Strong commercial modelling and contract negotiation skills
Existing network in the Italian energy ecosystem is a plus
