For the development of our Solar & Commercial Products (Segment Components) business, we are looking for a

Business Developer

with proven experience in technical product testing and certification. In this key role, you will play a key part in driving our growth and success by designing and implementing business models and concepts to develop and strengthen customer relationships and the service portfolio for

testing, inspection and certification

of solar and commercial electrical/electronic components. You will directly contribute to the growth of the

Segment Components in Italy , working closely with laboratories, sales and management in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities Develops/adapts business models for testing and certification services for solar components (e.g. connectors, cabling, junction boxes) and commercial products and supports the related implementation strategies. Identifies and promotes new business opportunities for laboratory services (safety, EMC, performance, energy efficiency, etc.) with OEMs, component manufacturers and system integrators. Designs and develops concepts for new or enhanced services (e.g. new test packages, certification schemes, combined testing & inspection services) in close cooperation with laboratories and technical responsibilities. Is responsible for organizing or carrying out market, trend, potential and competition analyses related to testing and certification services for PV and commercial components, as well as for innovative services linked to the energy transition. Coordinates the definition of service specifications based on customer needs, translating technical requirements (standards, test standards) into clear and operationally feasible service offerings. Identifies strategic partners and potential customers (manufacturers, distributors, system integrators, industry associations) for the launch and growth of new testing and certification services. Aligns business development activities with management and with laboratory and sales responsible, ensuring consistency with the Business Stream Products / P04 strategy. Supports the integration of new services into sales activities, in close coordination with the responsible Sales (sales training, sales materials, support during technical customer visits). Performs other duties consistent with the role as assigned by management

Required Skills and Experience Degree in Electrical, Electronic or a related field 3–5 years of professional experience in a related field, e.g.: business development, product management or technical sales testing and certification services norms and standards (e.g. IEC/EN for PV, electrical/electronic equipment, components) Familiarity with the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) environment is a significant advantage. photovoltaic sector / electrical and electronic components Fluent English (at least B2 – Upper Intermediate) Availability of travelling up to 25% of working time.
