Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace company, we invent the future of flight, lift people up, and bring them home safely. As a CA&M Supply Chain Shop Manager you will manage the people and the shop facilities and will carry out activities of planning, quotation, contact with customers (Product Leaders, IPT Leaders and CA&M engineers) and suppliers in order to satisfy the requests of manufacturing and repair of electronic systems for aero/naval application. The products are realized using COTS or in part internally developed and manufactured. The activities are mainly carried out on site, but also on other customers' sites. Essential Responsibilities Plan and control of CA&M blue‑collar activities considering legacy product schedules and external requests, supporting the professional growth of the blue‑collars. Weekly entry into SAP system of the hours spent on work‑package activities carried out by the blue‑collars. Manage product packaging and related shipping documentation issuance. Manage shop facilities efficiency with possible contacts with plant maintenance. Define investments and manage issue of new assets. Support in carrying out the annual inventory of work orders and materials. Be responsible for the application of EHS rules and regulations. Be responsible for FOD rules to be applied in the shop. Ensure the application of company processes (P06 and P04) and quality standards (EN9100) for the manufacturing of products, following corrective actions implementation as defined to cover any non‑conformity arising during internal or external audits. Promote lean and flight‑deck techniques to improve production processes and maintenance services. Provide quotations for new orders and the relevant planning, in compliance with delivery requirements defined with customers. Interface with customers (Product Leaders, IPT Leaders, CA&M engineers). Interface with suppliers for possible external manufacturing. Periodic review of risks and opportunities analysis relevant to the shop. Perform production/repair/retrofit activities in compliance with company procedures, to be demonstrated during audits. Review anomalies, scrap, and non‑conformities, identifying any undesirable trends. Highlight components under obsolescence or obsolete and propose possible solutions. Resolve issues or revisions of documents (e.g., procedures and instructions) relevant to manufacturing and the shop facilities. Prepare reports or presentations showing the achieved results. Share engineering information and promote open dialogue and psychological safety. Qualifications / Requirements High School Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Knowledge of electrical scheme drawing. Previous experience in the application of test procedures. Knowledge of main measurement instruments (scope, digital meter, signal generator, accelerometer, temperature sensors) and electronic equipment (power supply, calibrator, PC, monitor). Basic knowledge and use of a thermal chamber. Basic use of tin soldering. Strong analysis skills. Strong attention to details. Capability to carry out concurrent and varied tasks. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
