Overview Experteer OverviewAs Engineering Lead at Novartis, you will steer the site engineering and maintenance organization to ensure plants, equipment, and facilities meet GMP, HSE, and radioprotection standards. You will drive the engineering strategy, asset lifecycle management, and major investment projects, delivering reliable operations and compliant, state-of-the-art technical solutions. You will collaborate with local and global stakeholders to align scope, budget, and schedules, enabling future-ready capabilities. Responsibilities Lead the engineering/maintenance organization at site and ensure full operational readiness of equipment, infrastructure, and buildings Manage and execute site investment projects per asset life cycle, scope, budget, schedule, quality and functionality Develop and maintain the Engineering site strategy (Capex plan, equipment recapitalization, budgeting) and oversee implementation Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE, radioprotection regulations and drive compliant maintenance and calibration Provide engineering tools and systems (calibration, engineering database, CMMS, Comos) and ensure their effective use Support internal and external audits and ensure quality manual/module/GOP compliance Monitor/drive maintenance improvements, improve KPI, define asset strategies and lifecycle management Plan resources for maintenance/calibration, monitor backlogs, select vendors/contractors Maintain cross-functional collaboration and share best practices within the Novartis engineering community Communicate complex ideas effectively to executive management and teams Qualifications 10 years in Plant Engineering or similar Leadership experience with successful project management on major investments Excellent project management, contract management, and financial appraisal skills Strong communication skills for executive and technical audiences In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, especially aseptic processes and equipment Wide interdisciplinary experience in international, multi-disciplinary environments Fluent Italian and English #J-18808-Ljbffr
