Key Responsibilities

Actively steer the development, launch and production of

High Performance Computing (HPC)

hardware, overseeing all phases of the lifecycle. Work closely with

HPC Project Management ,

Hardware Platform Design (HWP) ,

Software Development ,

Product Validation (DV/PV)

teams and

Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS)

suppliers. Contribute to the specification and design of

HPC boards

for automotive applications. Collaborate with internal customers to understand application requirements and define deliverables, including: Product Functional (PF) specifications Hardware-Software Interface Specifications (HSIS) Functional Safety requirements Support the evaluation of scalable architecture alternatives and development paths for HPC hardware platforms. Contribute to defining requirements related to scalability, cost, size, weight, power, performance, safety and timing for next-generation hardware platforms. Support the hardware implementation of

Cybersecurity

and

Functional Safety

requirements for HPC systems. Lead the creation of quality benchmarks and standards, providing technical guidance to internal teams, suppliers and partners. Provide hardware technical support during

Design and Product Validation (DV/PV)

phases in collaboration with STLA validation teams and EMS suppliers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering , or equivalent. Experience with circuit simulations and

Worst Case Analysis . Experience creating

Hardware-Software Interface Specifications (HSIS) . Experience with schematic capture tools and

eBOM variant management

(Altium Design preferred). Experience with

D-FMEA . Hands-on, industry-relevant experience in

automotive electronic hardware development . Strong knowledge of analog and digital design, including: Power Management ICs, MCU, digital logic, FPGA, SoC DDR, UFS, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, CSI, DP, LVDS, TDM Experience supporting hardware component validation (Electrical, EMC, ESD, Environmental). Ability to analyze schematics and datasheets, understand processor architectures, memory options, automotive ICs, electrical I/O and automotive networks (CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet, USB, PCIe). Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads and signal generators. Familiarity with automotive electronics standards (EMC/EMI, environmental testing), product verification and design safety factors. Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently when required.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Electronics Engineering. Experience in automotive hardware development within

Tier 1 or Tier 2

suppliers. Experience designing electronics operating in the

-40°C to +105°C

temperature range. Knowledge of functional safety standards, including

ISO 26262 . Solid understanding of system and component-level design. Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (ETH, CAN-FD, LIN, LVDS, USB, PCIe, CSI, DP, TDM) and related troubleshooting tools.
