We are looking for a Legal Manager who, reporting directly to the K‑Way Head of Legal, will support and manage contract drafting and negotiation, ensure compliance and risk management, and advise internal stakeholders on legal matters across various staff functions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Typically gained through approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience in commercial and corporate legal matters, ideally acquired within a corporate legal department and a law firm specializing in commercial.
  • Strong expertise in contract law, with proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Experience with agency, distribution, and/or commercial lease agreements is considered an advantage.
  • Experience within the fashion, retail, or consumer goods sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and spoken Italian and English, with the ability to operate effectively in an international business environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and contribute to strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to agency, distribution, commercial lease agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and.
  • NDAs & Commercial Law: Provide legal advice on various commercial law matters affecting the company’s operations, including consumer law, e-commerce, intellectual property, and retail‑related legal is.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries of new legal developments relevant to the business.
  • Litigation Coordination: Coordinate with external counsel on litigation matters, manage legal disputes, and assist in developing effective litigation strategies.
  • Advisory Role: Serve as a strategic legal advisor to internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations), providing clear and business‑oriented legal guidance.
  • Shareholder Relations: Act as a key legal contact for the company’s principal external shareholder, supporting regular interactions in an international environment and ensuring effective communication on legal and governance‑related matters. Strong professional English proficiency is required for day‑to‑day interaction.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Demonstrate a strong commercial mindset, balancing legal considerations with business needs, and actively contributing to the development and execution of business strategies.
