R&D Product development Engineer II (M/F/D)
Salary: €38,900.00 gross per annum, depending on experience and skills.
Responsibilities
The R&D Product development Engineer II is responsible for ensuring proper workflow and on‑time delivery of tools and spare parts while coordinating activities among suppliers, customers, and internal functions.
- Manage projects related to the assigned product families, including:
- Tracking customer orders and delivery schedules
- Monitoring project progress and supervising suppliers
- Managing spare parts requests and ensuring timely delivery
- Support and coordinate global suppliers, ensuring alignment with project requirements
- Act as a technical interface between customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper use of PLM systems
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master)
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in engineering roles
- Solid knowledge of PLM platforms
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings
- Understanding of electric and pneumatic diagrams
- Solid PLC programming knowledge and high‑level object‑oriented languages (C, C#, Java)
- Data management and analysis (SQL, Tableau)
- Knowledge of OT (Operational technology) applications including MES
- Experience with connector or terminal tooling is considered a strong plus
- Experience in industrial automation is considered a strong plus
- Excellent proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, analytical, and written)
- Proven organizational and project management skills, with experience collaborating across teams, suppliers, and customers
- Ability to work independently on multiple parallel projects, delivering analyses and reports within deadlines
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to make decisions with minimal supervision
- Analytical mindset and strong self‑organization
