The
Importers Area Operational Manager
is responsible for the commercial results and operational support of the assigned Stellantis Importers within the Enlarged Europe perimeter. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, monitoring local action plans, executing troubleshooting activities to resolve operational needs, and ensuring compliance with regional commercial policies.
Commercial Planning & Forecasting
Distribute sales targets, implement promotional campaigns, and collaborate with Sales Planning on market forecasting.
Define and plan monthly/quarterly purchase sell-in orders with Importers, coordinating execution with the Supply Chain.
Support Sales Allowance allocation and cost control in coherence with the defined budget.
Business Development & Relationship Management
Develop and implement local sell-out action plans, leveraging all available commercial channels and product portfolios.
Manage variable discounts used for commercial policies and promotional activities.
Evaluate and process requests for Extra Promos, commercial animations, or policy derogations, coordinating the approval phases with the Finance department and regional directors.
Troubleshooting & Performance Monitoring
Lead escalation processes involving cross-functional HQ departments to establish necessary business tools and processes.
Monitor action plan deadlines, tasks, and guideline implementation through designated KPIs.
Background in Area Management, Commercial Operations, or Business Development, with specific exposure to the Automotive sector (preferably in Parts & Services /
Aftermarket ).
Commercial & Financial Acumen:
Competencies in Business Relationship Management, sales forecasting, and P&L support (including cost control and discount management).
Proven capability in structured troubleshooting, escalation management, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing departments.
Languages:
Professional fluency in
English
suitable for international business relations. Proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.
