Job Description Summary

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support concurrent engineering activities with design engineers and/or the customer
  • Define tooling/router design effort between external suppliers and Avio Aero Manufacturing Engineering
  • Drive suppliers of tooling through all steps from concept to functional test and validation
  • Manage design and process reviews to monitor the status of industrialization and improvement plans for the assigned part number
  • Support operating personnel during the production of the first batch
  • Manage technical validation in accordance with internal procedures
  • Identify process optimizations to be implemented
  • Support Customer Quality Engineering for anomaly reports submitted to the Customer and sustain Customer review of the proposed improvement plan
  • Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process
  • Develop and consolidate best practices and standards for manufacturing

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university/college or a Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in production/manufacturing domain
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Work visa compliant with local regulations
