Strategic Planning & Innovation Manager – Digital Identity & Signature

The Strategic Planning & Innovation Manager plays a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and monitoring the strategic direction of the Digital Identity & Signature Business Line. Acting as a bridge between the Business Line Manager and the Product Managers, this role ensures strategic coherence across products and initiatives, driving innovation, international growth, and business scalability. The mission is to transform strategic vision into data‑driven, actionable plans, aligning product development, market opportunities, and operational priorities to support Aruba’s leadership in the trust services and digital identity ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Line Manager in defining and continuously updating the strategic roadmap of the Business Line, aligning it with corporate goals, regulatory evolution, and international market trends.
  • Conduct independent economic and financial feasibility analyses for new projects, product evolutions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and strategic M&A targets, with a focus on innovation and international expansion.
  • Consolidate strategic inputs from Product Managers and translate them into integrated action plans and business cases.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to digital identity, trust services, and the European Digital Wallet framework.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and Compliance department to ensure that innovation initiatives are feasible, scalable, and compliant with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and periodic reports for strategic monitoring and executive decision‑making.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and cross‑functional collaboration across the Business Line.

Skills and Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or innovation management, preferably within ICT, trust services, or digital identity sectors.
  • Knowledge of digital trust ecosystems, identity management standards, and digital transformation trends.
  • Proven ability to conduct economic and financial analysis autonomously (P&L, ROI, sensitivity analysis).
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across organizational levels.
  • Proactive, visionary, and comfortable working in fast‑changing and highly regulated environments.
  • Experience in international markets and cross‑border strategic initiatives are a plus.
  • Updated and actionable Business Line strategic plan, including international growth roadmap.
  • Documented business cases and feasibility studies for new initiatives, partnerships, and M&A opportunities.
  • Strategic reports and KPI dashboards supporting management decision‑making.
  • Continuous alignment between Business Line strategy, product roadmaps, and corporate objectives.
