Job Description The Supplier Claims Auditor is responsible for performing independent audits of supplier cancellation claims to ensure that only contractually obligated and substantiated costs are paid, driving measurable cost avoidance for Stellantis.

This role will interact extensively with suppliers, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management to evaluate and resolve disputed claims. The Auditor will perform substantive testing of supplier claims, obtain and assess sufficient evidence to support payment recommendations, document results and findings, and clearly communicate conclusions to appropriate stakeholders and management.

The position includes on‑site verification of supplier inventories, production tooling, raw materials, and other assets included in cancellation claims. The Auditor will assess claims within the context of engineering program governance, tooling approval trails, supply chain compliance requirements, and commercial pricing mechanisms to ensure claims align with contractual terms, approved program decisions, and internal controls.

This individual will also coordinate audit efforts with dealer field auditors, Corporate Leadership Development (CLD) program participants, and other cross‑functional audit and operational teams, and prepare clear, concise management reporting to support leadership decision‑making.

Travel requirement: up to 30%.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end‑to‑end audits of supplier cancellation claims, including planning, execution, documentation, and reporting

Substantively test supplier‑provided data and supporting documentation to validate claimed costs

Conduct on‑site verification of inventories, production tooling, and other claimed assets

Evaluate claims against engineering program governance decisions, approved program scope, and tooling approval and release trails

Assess supplier compliance with supply chain, commercial, and contractual requirements

Analyze claims considering commercial pricing mechanisms, including piece price, tooling amortization, and cost recovery structures

Leverage data analytics and AI‑enabled tools to identify anomalies, trends, and risk indicators within supplier claims data

Clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Audit leadership

Coordinate audit activities across internal and external stakeholders to support volume, complexity, and timeliness

Support continuous improvement of supplier claims audit methodologies, including increased use of analytics and automation

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, preferably with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Supply Chain

Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, such as:

Finance or Accounting

Purchasing or Supply Chain

Tool Valuation or Manufacturing / Product Engineering

Cost, System, or Commercial Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and commercial topics clearly

Experience working with engineering programs, tooling lifecycle management, or program launch / cancellation activities

Understanding of automotive commercial pricing models and supplier cost structures

Experience using data analytics, automation, or AI‑based tools to support audit, financial analysis, or risk identification

Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable financial impact through audit or validation activities
