What is the role? To support the activity with our Aerospace Client in Rome or Turin, we are seeking a talented and experienced

System Architect Specialist

to join our IT Architect team and become one of them. Our organization values innovation, reliability, and continuous learning in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience to manage, maintain, and optimize our Linux-based infrastructure, with strong expertise in Red Hat environments and a passion for system reliability and performance.

Key responsabilities and tasks System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Infrastructure Management: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability Security Management: Implement and maintain security policies, patches, and access controls Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for system automation and configuration management Backup & Recovery: Manage backup systems and disaster recovery procedures Documentation: Maintain comprehensive system documentation and standard operating procedures Collaboration: Work closely with IT operational teams and other IT professionals

Technical Skills Required Experience: 5+ years of Linux system administration experience Knowledge of MongoDB, MySqL DB, Docker, Kubernetes and Microservices, Nginx; Docker, Docker sworm Knowledge of Gitlab, implementing CI/CD pipeline Red Hat Expertise: Proven experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7/8/9 Core Skills: Strong knowledge of shell scripting (Bash), system monitoring, and troubleshooting Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration Storage: Experience with LVM, file systems, and storage management Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, or similar) Nice to have: Certifications: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or similar solutions Monitoring Tools: Basic knowledge of Nagios, Zabbix, or similar solutions Database: Basic knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases Additional Skills: Python scripting, Git version control, and ITIL practices

Transversal Skills • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to quickly identify business opportunities and understand customer needs • Ability to problem-solve and work in multidisciplinary teams Languages: Italian (Fluent) English (fluent, oral and written)
