Dispatch Coordinator
Location: 515 N 51st Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85043. Starting pay: $22.00 hourly.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch truck drivers (CDL and non‑CDL) for the conveyance of materials in a safe manner.
- Maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with various GCNA divisions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules and use of appropriate safety equipment;
report unsafe or potential hazards immediately. - Order supplies and equipment, issuing them to team members.
- Maintain day‑to‑day operations of the transportation department and meet team member and customer needs.
- Read and respond to emails from stores, providing excellent customer service.
- Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
- Communicate power equipment defects to the fleet Services Team.
- Provide feedback to Transportation Leaders on day‑to‑day operations to maintain and improve business and resolve problems.
- Maintain regular and consistent in‑person attendance.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- One year of customer service or dispatch experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.
