The SAP Technical Program Manager is a key resource within the Governance team. The Governance team includes basis, security, compliance, automation and performance testing, data governance, change and release management. You will oversee complex SAP initiatives, coordinating engineering, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

  • An SAP Technical Program Manager oversees complex SAP initiatives, coordinating engineering, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions.
  • Lead major initiatives for the team including: support pack application/testing, SAP application upgrades, HANA database upgrades, migration to NS2 RISE, and coordination between teams to ensure SIT and UAT testing are performed.
  • Enforce Quality Gate Checks and complete Release Management reviews and sign-offs.
  • Work closely with the basis team to ensure disaster recovery is performed, system refreshes are completed, and monthly maintenance windows are coordinated.

Day-to-day / “A day in the life”

  • Help lead major initiatives for the Governance team as described above.

About the team

The Governance team includes basis, security, compliance, automation and performance testing, data governance, change and release management. The TPM’s focus is primarily on basis requirements, with touchpoints across all teams operating under the governance model.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years in basis or database management
  • 10+ years of SAP experience
  • 5+ years in technical architecture

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Experience with large-scale S4HANA systems
  • Experience with NS2 RISE or Infrastructure as a Service

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
