Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Technical Program Manager role will be at the forefront of driving B2B2X technology solutions, especially with "sell with" and B2B2B customers for Amazon Leo. The role will own project plans, align teams, track progress for multiple inter‑connected work streams, think globally and act locally in delivering the best customer experience in any region.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, partner engagement, Solution Architecture, Sales, and Business teams; a highly visible role requiring independent work under tight deadlines and a proven track‑record of end‑to‑end ownership and results delivery.
  • Own program definition and delivery, keeping stakeholders informed with status updates, holding teams accountable to deliverables, and identifying & resolving blocking issues.
  • Understand software design concepts and contribute to large‑scale architectural designs; comfortable diving deep into the mechanisms of complex systems.
  • Deliver launch plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate progress to senior/executive leadership across various work streams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
