Sr. Technical Program Manager, Global Network Deployment (GND)
Job ID:
| Amazon Data Services, Inc.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
The successful candidate for this role will create sustainable processes and standards; and drive automation opportunities to reduce delivery cycle times and to improve quality without impacting network availability.
The mission of the team is to deliver network capacity on time with zero rework. The GND Technical Program Manager will support the implementation and delivery of inbound capacity and equipment. They will be responsible for bringing efficiencies in operations and allow the team to scale.
Key job responsibilities
Resolve planning gaps by driving joint outcomes with stakeholder teams within GND.
Own identifying where systematic issues are blocking planner throughput, driving those to resolution across team boundaries.
Collaborate on initiatives within GND that impact Planning (e.g. attend MBRs), and ensure that AMER, EMEA, and APAC regional teams are learning from each other rather than solving the same problems in silos.
Provide forward visibility, surfacing risks before they become blockers, engaging the right decision‑makers, and driving resolution so planners stay focused on planning and their time is not spent chasing other teams.
Ensure solutions are grounded in how planners actually work, translating operational pain points into actionable requirements, representing planning in design discussions, and validating that what ships actually solves the problem.
Own how improvements land in the planning workflow—sequencing rollouts, enabling planners, and confirming that the change actually helps. Drives adoption of tools.
Optimize business processes through Agentic AI solutions.

Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery
